Where Layers of Time Collide

Did you miss “Good Goods” at the Yale Repertory Theater? Check out the New York Times review of it here!
Excerpt:
It takes quite a while, in this world premiere directed by the revered Tina Landau (who did “Superior Donuts” on Broadway), to establish what kind of invasion people are talking about. And that’s a fairly important part of the plot. In fact, it is the plot.
Stacey Good (Clifton Duncan) has returned to his hometown because his father has suddenly run away, leaving his general merchandise store, Good Goods, in the hands of the one employee, Truth (Marc Damon Johnson). Truth has worked there since he was a boy, and he is bitter. The elder Mr. Good, it seems, promised that if he had a daughter, Truth could marry her and take over the business. The daughter, however, turned out to be a son, Stacey.
